Passengers travelling through Tashkent will also benefit from convenient onward connections to destinations across Central Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The launch supports growing economic and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan by providing travellers with a direct air link between the two countries.

Centrum Air said the new route will make it easier for business travellers, tourists and families to visit Uzbekistan, a country renowned for its Silk Road heritage and historic cities.

Visitors will have easier access to cultural landmarks, including Samarkand, Bukhara, the Centre for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent and the Imam Al-Bukhari Memorial Complex near Samarkand.

The airline expects the direct service to encourage greater tourism and strengthen regional connectivity, offering passengers a convenient gateway to Central Asia for business, leisure and cultural exploration.
