Karachi, Pakistan, August 10, 2026: Myco has announced the upcoming release of Naan to Knockouts, a four-part biopic documenting the extraordinary life of Pakistani Muay Thai champion Nisar Ahmed, widely known as “Nisar Boxer”.
Produced and directed by Myco in collaboration with AKS-Dojo, the documentary follows Nisar’s journey from a remote village in Balochistan to the international martial arts stage.
Nisar grew up in Killa Abdullah and faced severe hardships from an early age. He lost his father when he was seven and his mother at the age of 12. Family elders later sent him to Karachi alone.
He arrived in the city without knowing Urdu. He survived by working long shifts at roadside cafes while continuing his education. Despite the difficult conditions, Nisar developed a strong interest in combat sports.
In 2016, he joined Tiger Martial Arts Academy under coach Iqrar Khan. His dedication soon produced results at the national level.

Nisar won four gold medals and one silver medal at the National Kickboxing Championships. He continued to balance physically demanding work with intensive training.
His career took another major step in 2023 when he joined AKS-Dojo. There, he developed greater athletic discipline and focused on both physical preparation and mental well-being.
That transformation helped Nisar reach the biggest achievement of his career in 2024. He won the World Muay Federation Pro-Am Muay Thai Championship in Bangkok, Thailand.
The victory made Nisar the first Pakistani fighter to win the World Muay Federation Pro-Am Muay Thai world title.
The film explores the sacrifices behind that achievement. It examines Nisar’s years of manual labour, demanding training and personal struggles while showing how determination helped him overcome adversity.
Adil K. Sattar, founder of AKS-Dojo, said Nisar’s difficult circumstances did not diminish his passion for martial arts.
He said Nisar had faced major challenges in both his personal and professional life. Sattar also described him as a determined athlete who needed an opportunity to demonstrate his potential.
Sattar praised Myco for bringing Nisar’s journey to a wider audience. He said the story could inspire Pakistani young people to pursue their ambitions despite hardship.
Somair Rizvi, Co-Founder and President of Myco Global, described Nisar’s journey as a powerful example of human resilience.
“Nisar’s story is a profound testament to the unbroken human spirit,” Rizvi said.
He added that Myco aims to support under-represented voices and highlight local heroes who continue to pursue their dreams despite difficult circumstances.
According to Rizvi, Nisar has competed in more than 200 fights and represents more than sporting success. He described the athlete as a national treasure and said Myco felt honoured to share his story with audiences around the world.
Naan to Knockouts will premiere on Myco on August 14, 2026. The biopic will feature four episodes and focus on Nisar’s journey from hardship to becoming a world champion.
The documentary also highlights the wider potential of Pakistani athletes and the challenges many face while pursuing professional careers in international sports.
