New York: Zendaya turned heads at the New York premiere of The Odyssey, wearing a striking white gown by Matières Fécales for the final stop of the film’s promotional tour.

Celebrity stylist Law Roach selected the sculptural design, which featured draped detailing, a swirling bodice, a thigh-high side slit and dramatic angel-inspired wings attached to the back.

Matières Fécales first unveiled the gown during its Autumn 2025 runway show in Paris. The flowing train carried an intentionally distressed finish, while the winged silhouette drew inspiration from the ancient Greek sculpture Nike of Samothrace.

The fashion label, founded by Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran, has attracted growing international attention over the past year for its avant-garde creations.

Zendaya completed the look with understated Chopard drop earrings, allowing the gown to remain the centrepiece of her appearance. She also wore white pointed-toe pumps with inverted heels that complemented the flowing wing-inspired design.

Before the premiere, the actress stepped out in New York wearing vintage Sophia Webster gladiator sandals, continuing the Greek-inspired fashion theme linked to The Odyssey.

Christopher Nolan directed The Odyssey, an adaptation of Homer’s epic poem. The film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus and follows the legendary king’s long journey home to Ithaca after the Trojan War. It is set to open in cinemas on Friday.
