Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited’s Tameer Trust has partnered with The Dawood Foundation (TDF) to expand access to STEM education for children from underserved communities.
Through the partnership, selected students will receive sponsorship to visit the MagnifiScience Centre. The programme will give them opportunities to explore science through interactive activities and hands-on learning.
The initiative builds on Wafi Energy Pakistan’s continued support for programmes that help young people develop knowledge and practical skills.
Zubair Shaikh, Chief Executive Officer of Wafi Energy Pakistan, said young people’s learning and development will play an important role in Pakistan’s future.
He added that the partnership aims to help more children experience STEM education in an engaging way. According to Shaikh, experiential learning can make science more enjoyable while encouraging young people to explore new ideas.

Wafi Energy Pakistan also welcomed its continued association with The Dawood Foundation. The company said the collaboration supports initiatives that create meaningful learning opportunities for young people.

Partnerships such as this one can help bring more visitors to the MagnifiScience Centre. Students will have the chance to explore scientific concepts through curiosity, interaction and discovery.
Favad Soomro, Chief Executive Officer of The Dawood Foundation, also highlighted the long-term value of meaningful learning experiences. He said such opportunities can influence how young people view themselves and the world around them.
The foundation aims to make science more engaging and accessible to children from different backgrounds. Its latest collaboration with Wafi Energy will support students who may otherwise have limited access to such experiences.
The partnership agreement was signed by Zubair Shaikh, Chief Executive Officer of Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, and Favad Soomro, Chief Executive Officer of The Dawood Foundation.
Senior representatives from both organisations attended the signing ceremony. The attendees included Imran Qureshi, Director Corporate & Government Relations at Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, and Christoph S. Sprung, Chief Governance Officer at The Dawood Foundation.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment by both organisations to expand access to educational opportunities.
