Pakistani technology professionals based in Saudi Arabia have offered investment and collaboration opportunities to IT companies and startups from Pakistan seeking to expand into the Kingdom.

Majlis-e-Pakistan, a community of Pakistani technology professionals in Saudi Arabia, hosted the Pakistan Tech Meetup in Riyadh alongside LEAP 2026.

The networking event brought together Pakistani IT companies, investors, entrepreneurs and startup founders. Participants discussed partnerships, investment opportunities and potential business ventures in Saudi Arabia.

Pakistani Community Supports IT Expansion

Saqib Zubair, Patron-in-Chief of Majlis-e-Pakistan, said the Pakistani technology and business community in Saudi Arabia was ready to support companies entering the Kingdom.

He said the community could help Pakistani IT firms establish operations, access financing and raise funds. According to Zubair, the shared goal is to support Pakistan’s economic growth.

Furthermore, he said Pakistani delegates attending LEAP 2026 could benefit from the wider Pakistan-Saudi business network.

“This mutual cooperation can help expand trade and business ties between the two brotherly countries across multiple sectors,” he said.

Saudi Arabia Offers New Tech Opportunities

Saad Shah, CEO of Hexalyze and an IT exporter, said Pakistani technology companies had significant opportunities in the growing GCC market.

He pointed to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 as a major driver of new technology and investment opportunities.

Pakistani startups can also benefit from partnerships with established Pakistani businesses already operating in Saudi Arabia. Such cooperation could help new entrants understand the local market and reduce the costs and challenges of establishing operations.

Consequently, Pakistani technology firms could expand their presence more efficiently while building relationships with potential customers and investors.

P@SHA Calls for Stronger Industry Links

Sajjad Syed, Chairman of the Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA), welcomed the growing presence of Pakistani IT companies in Saudi Arabia.

He said more companies were establishing subsidiaries and offshore offices in the Kingdom. This trend could strengthen Pakistan’s technology industry and support future export growth.

Saudi Arabia is also home to a large community of Pakistani technology professionals. Their presence reflects Pakistan’s growing contribution to the Kingdom’s digital economy.

Syed called for stronger institutional and commercial links between Pakistan’s IT industry and Pakistani technology professionals in Saudi Arabia.

He said closer cooperation could create new business opportunities and support mutually beneficial projects.

More Than 50 IT Firms Join Riyadh Meetup

More than 50 IT companies participated in the Pakistan Tech Meetup.

The event featured speeches by business leaders and panel discussions on technology, investment and business opportunities in Saudi Arabia.

Participants also used the meetup to explore potential partnerships and connect with investors and entrepreneurs.

The event highlighted the growing role of the Pakistani diaspora in supporting technology exports and business expansion between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
