Marriage4Life Hamza Ali Abbasi and Naimal say platform is for serious marriage seekers

Platform reaches 20,000 members

Pakistani actors Hamza Ali Abbasi and Naimal Khawar Khan say their platform, Marriage4Life, is designed only for people who are serious about marriage. They insist it is not a dating app.

In an Instagram video, the couple thanked users for supporting the platform since its launch three months ago. They said it has now crossed 20,000 members and that they are using customer feedback to improve the service.

“You guys know we launched three months back and we’ve gotten an overwhelming response, so thank you to each and every one of you. We now have more than 20,000 members, which is amazing. We’ve also received some valuable feedback,” Naimal said.

‘Not a dating app’

Hamza Ali Abbasi said the platform encourages meaningful relationships instead of casual conversations.

“Our app is not just another platform where you can have casual chit-chat, like Facebook or Instagram. Our platform is not meant to just pass time; it is a serious platform. It is for people who are looking for very serious life partners and for marriage,” he said.

Abbasi added that Naimal had one clear condition before the platform launched.

“When we created the platform, the number one thing my wife said was that she did not want it to become a dating app. It is for people who are serious — not for those who want to pass time, browse other people’s profiles, or chat. No, absolutely not,” he said.

Experts support the matchmaking process

Abbasi also responded to questions about the platform’s paid features. He said subscription fees support a team of professional matchmaking experts instead of funding only an algorithm-based service.

He said the platform operates offices in Oslo, Manchester, Copenhagen and Lahore. Consultants guide users through every stage of the matchmaking process and can also introduce potential partners.

“We have real offices with real experts who help at every stage. When you get matches, they can even introduce you to them. They’re doing all that hard work for you. They are real people,” he said.

The couple said they will continue improving the platform over the coming months. They also encouraged users to share feedback to help expand the service globally.

Hamza Ali Abbasi and Naimal Khawar Khan married in 2019 and welcomed their first child in 2020.
