In the Under-16 Duo Show System event, Zunaira Zulfiqar and Sundas Ali produced an outstanding display of technical skill, coordination and determination to secure the gold medal. Consequently, they became the new Asian champions, while Pakistan’s national flag was raised and the national anthem was played during the medal ceremony.

Meanwhile, Abdul Rehman and Amina Irfan also impressed in the same event and claimed the silver medal for Pakistan. Meanwhile, the host nation Kazakhstan finished with the bronze medal.

Furthermore, the Chairman of the Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation congratulated the athletes, coaches and officials. He said the achievement reflected years of development, disciplined training and effective planning by the federation. Moreover, he described the Under-16 Asian titles and the Best Under-16 Team of Asia award as a proud moment for the entire nation.

In addition, Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation Secretary General and team leader Tariq Ali praised the team’s opening-day success. He said the results highlighted the bright future of Ju-Jitsu in Pakistan and demonstrated the talent, discipline and preparation of the country’s young athletes. He also expressed confidence that the team would maintain its winning momentum in the remaining competitions.

Similarly, national team coach Mahmood-ul-Hassan commended the athletes for their confidence, technical excellence and teamwork. According to him, their success rewarded months of hard work and dedication. He added that the team would continue competing with the same determination in the upcoming events.
