KARACHI, September 29, 2026: The Sindh government has introduced an Auto CV Character System on its iWork for Sindh employment platform.
Sindh Senior Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon said the new system would help jobseekers prepare organised professional profiles.
He said modern technology could also help young people apply for jobs more effectively.
According to a statement issued by the Sindh Information Department, the provincial government is focusing on employment opportunities, skills development, professional training and career guidance.
Memon said 718 companies are currently registered on the iWork for Sindh platform.
The platform has 21,233 active employment opportunities, according to the statement.

More than 471,000 job applications have also been submitted through the platform so far.
The minister said the figures showed growing use of the digital employment system.
The platform also includes the Learn and Earn Programme.
The programme provides access to more than 1,800 internationally recognised short courses, according to the Sindh government.
More than 4,470 candidates have completed courses through the programme.
Another 5,225 candidates are currently enrolled, the statement said.
The programme aims to connect skills development with employment opportunities.
The Sindh government is now working to make iWork for Sindh a more advanced digital employment platform.
Memon said an AI-powered Career and Job Assistance Agent was being developed.
The system is expected to help candidates search and filter jobs.
It will also provide career guidance and other digital assistance.
An Auto Job Integration System is also under development.
The system will connect public and private-sector job opportunities directly with the iWork for Sindh platform.
Memon said initial preparation and implementation of the automation system was expected to take around one and a half to two months.
Daily job alerts will also be introduced as part of the planned improvements.
The government aims to create a single digital ecosystem for employment and career development.
According to Memon, the platform will bring job opportunities, professional training and career guidance together.
The initiative forms part of the Sindh government’s broader push to use digital technology to connect young people with employment and skills-development opportunities.
