KARACHI: Jagruti Summer Leaders Program participants met Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi at the Governor House on Monday, where he urged young people to pursue ambitious goals, invest in education and develop the skills needed to build a successful future.

The delegation was led by Jagruti Foundation Chief Executive Officer Engineer Ravinder Kumar. During the meeting, the governor emphasized that education, strong moral values and professional skills are the foundation of personal success and national development.

He encouraged students to believe in themselves, work tirelessly toward their goals and prepare for future challenges through continuous learning and self-improvement.

More than 100 words into his address, Jagruti remained central to the discussion as Governor Hashmi called on participants to plan their futures carefully and strive to become better every day. He advised students to build meaningful friendships, support others and play a constructive role in society.

Education and Skills Key to Success

Governor Hashmi described Pakistan’s youth as the country’s greatest asset and said guiding the younger generation is a shared national responsibility.

He urged students to use mobile phones for education, research and learning new skills rather than limiting their use to entertainment.

The governor also encouraged participants to expand their knowledge of world affairs by learning about different countries, their currencies, capitals and global developments.

Promoting Leadership and Positive Values

The governor advised students to participate actively in painting competitions, public speaking contests and other constructive extracurricular activities to strengthen their confidence and leadership abilities.

He also stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in homes, schools and surrounding communities as part of responsible citizenship.

Governor Hashmi added that personal hygiene, simple and dignified dressing, good manners and punctuality are essential qualities that help shape a successful personality and future leader.
