A Russian drone attack killed four people in Ukraine’s Kyiv region, including three children, Ukrainian authorities said Sunday.
The attack continued for more than 24 hours across several parts of the region.
A mother and her two 3-year-old children died when a drone struck their home, Ukraine’s emergency service said. A girl later died in hospital after a separate strike in another district.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said one person was injured in the capital. Drone fragments also fell in several districts of Kyiv.
Kyiv region Governor Tymur Tkachenko said the attacks damaged 31 sites across five districts.
The southwestern Fastiv district suffered the heaviest damage.
More than 24 sites came under attack there. The damage included homes, industrial facilities and utility buildings.
An agricultural enterprise and several vehicles also sustained damage, according to Tkachenko.

The attacks come as Russian forces continue to launch frequent drone strikes against Kyiv and surrounding areas.
Russian forces also struck an area near an apartment building in the northern city of Sumy.
The attack killed one person and injured another, local officials said.
Sumy lies close to the Russian border and has faced repeated attacks during the war.
Moscow has said it wants to establish a buffer zone in areas near the border.
Russia did not immediately acknowledge the reported strikes.
Further east, local officials reported another fatality in Kramatorsk.
One person died during one of several rounds of shelling, according to officials.
Kramatorsk sits in Ukraine’s Donetsk region and remains an important city near the front line.
Russian forces have repeatedly targeted the area during their advance in eastern Ukraine.
The conflict also raised concerns beyond Ukraine’s borders.
Moldova’s Foreign Ministry condemned what it described as an overnight drone intrusion north of the capital, Chisinau.
Moldovan authorities have previously reported drones they identified as Russian entering the country’s airspace.
Moldova’s pro-Western government has strongly opposed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The latest attacks come as Russia continues its campaign of drone and missile strikes across Ukraine.
