Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the government and people of Türkiye on the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic, praising the country’s progress under President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s leadership.

In a message posted on X, the prime minister extended heartfelt felicitations to President Erdoğan, the Turkish government and the people of Türkiye.

He said the country’s proud history, rich heritage and remarkable journey as a republic reflected the resilience, courage and indomitable spirit of its people.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan and Türkiye shared an exceptional bond of brotherhood rooted in common history, mutual trust and unwavering solidarity.

He expressed confidence that the two countries would continue working together to promote peace and stability in the region and beyond.

The prime minister also recalled Türkiye’s support for Pakistan during what he described as Indian aggression. He said the support had encouraged the Pakistani people and added that Pakistan would always remember Türkiye’s solidarity.
