KARACHI, September 10: Chery Master Pakistan has opened bookings for its new Chery Q electric car at an introductory booking amount of PKR 1.5 million.
The all-electric model is scheduled for its official launch at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026 on September 18.
The company said it will announce the vehicle’s final pricing and complete commercial details at the event.
Chery Q targets urban users with a combination of interior space, technology, safety and electric driving.
The Chery Q measures 1,811mm in width and has a 2,700mm wheelbase.
The company says its wheelbase exceeds that of most C-SUVs in Pakistan.
The vehicle also provides 152mm of rear knee room, offering additional space within a compact urban footprint.
Chery Master Pakistan is positioning the model as an upgrade for everyday driving rather than simply a replacement for conventional petrol cars.
The Chery Q features rear-wheel drive and several connected driving technologies.
These include mobile app controls and voice commands.
The vehicle also supports 6.6kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
For safety, the Q comes with six airbags and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with 21 functions.
A 540-degree high-definition camera system is also included.
Other features include automatic parking and three driving modes.
The cabin features a 15.6-inch 2.5K display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.
The vehicle is equipped with a 42.7kWh battery.
Chery says the Q can deliver up to 400km of NEDC range and efficiency of up to 9.4km per kWh.
The company is also highlighting the model’s potential running-cost advantage for households with solar power.
Based on an annual driving distance of 20,000km, Chery estimates that a typical petrol vehicle could cost around PKR 488,000 to PKR 569,000 in fuel.
By comparison, the company estimates that charging the Q through solar power could cost around PKR 30,000 annually.
Actual savings will vary depending on electricity, fuel and charging costs, as well as driving conditions.

The Chery Q launch comes as Pakistan’s electric vehicle market continues to develop.
According to the company, EV sales increased 257% between FY2024-25 and FY2025-26, rising from 1,839 to 6,560 units.
Pakistan also imported around 17GW of solar PV in 2024, more than twice the previous year’s volume, according to the company.
The wider shift toward electric mobility could also reduce dependence on imported petroleum.
Pakistan’s petroleum import bill reached US$16.86 billion in FY2025-26, while greater adoption of electric vehicles could support efforts to reduce fuel consumption and urban emissions.
Chery Master Pakistan combines Chery’s international automotive operations with Master Group’s local industrial and automotive presence.
Chery says it is China’s No. 1 automobile exporter for 23 consecutive years. The company has a presence in more than 130 countries and serves over 20 million customers.
In Pakistan, Chery Master has established 14 3S dealerships across eight cities in less than 10 months.
The company plans to increase the network to 20 dealerships across 12 cities over the next six months.
Master Group has more than 60 years of business experience and over 40 years in the automotive sector, according to the company.
Its operations include manufacturing, localisation and large-scale automotive activities.
Through Master Yutong, the group says it holds approximately 80% of Pakistan’s bus market. Its Procon Engineering components are also used in around 15% of locally assembled vehicles.
The group’s joint venture with Changan has also become a major player in Pakistan’s automotive market.
Chery Master Pakistan will officially launch the Chery Q at the Pakistan Auto Show on September 18, 2026.
The company will announce the model’s final price and full commercial details during the launch.
With its electric powertrain, long claimed range, technology features and local dealership expansion, Chery Q is entering Pakistan’s growing EV market as the company seeks to establish a stronger presence in electric urban mobility.
