The five-time world champions beat India 4-0 in a rare international friendly in Kolkata, with their young players impressing under Carlo Ancelotti.
Brazil controlled much of the match at Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday.
The game marked the first meeting between the senior men’s teams of Brazil and India.
However, the 65,000-capacity stadium was only partly full.
The match had generated significant interest in India.
Critics blamed high ticket prices for the low attendance.
The cheapest tickets cost 999 Indian rupees ($10). They sold out within minutes.
Other ticket categories ranged from 3,500 to 25,000 rupees.
Brazil attracted strong attention with stars such as Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior and Marquinhos in the line-up.

India are ranked 138th in the world. The country hopes to raise football’s profile in a nation where cricket remains the dominant sport.
Brazil created the first major chance in the eighth minute.
Vinicius forced a strong save from India goalkeeper and captain Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.
India also produced several promising attacks.
Brazil broke the deadlock in the 28th minute. Chelsea forward Estevao fired a quick left-footed shot past Gurpreet.
Pedro then doubled Brazil’s advantage in the 42nd minute.
Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti praised his young players after the match.
He said they had improved during the team’s recent tour and handled the pressure well.
Brazil entered the match after a win and a draw in two friendlies in Australia.
The team are also rebuilding after their surprise World Cup exit against Norway in July.
India started the second half with more attacking intent.
Manvir Singh tested Brazil with a powerful effort in the 55th minute. The shot forced another good save.
Brazil responded three minutes later.
Samuel Lino came on for Vinicius and scored Brazil’s third goal in the 58th minute.
India’s defence struggled to deal with the attack.
Lino scored again just before the final whistle to complete the 4-0 victory.
India coach Khalid Jamil blamed individual mistakes for several of Brazil’s goals.
He said his players showed belief despite facing one of football’s strongest teams.
Jamil also urged the squad to remain mentally strong and continue developing.
India have never qualified for the World Cup.
Football remains popular in the country, but it continues to compete with cricket for attention.
