Food & Drink Leads inDrive.Courier Orders in Pakistan at 41.9%

KARACHI, August 28, 2026: Food and drink made up 41.9% of all inDrive.Courier orders in Pakistan between January and June 2026, highlighting the growing role of delivery services in everyday life.

inDrive said its internal analysis covered courier orders placed across Pakistan during the first half of the year. The study also examined courier activity in seven other countries.

Food and groceries lead demand

The data shows that Food & Drink was the largest classified category in Pakistan, accounting for 41.9% of orders.

The share was almost equal to the combined total for three other major categories. Clothing & Shoes accounted for 24% of orders, while Medicine & Pharmacy made up 9%. Documents & Papers represented another 8.5%.

Together, those three categories accounted for 41.5% of classified courier orders.

The figures point to strong demand for quick delivery of everyday goods. Food and groceries, in particular, appear to be a major reason customers use courier services.

Pakistan records highest electronics share

Pakistan also stood out in another part of the study.

Electronics accounted for 8.4% of courier orders, giving Pakistan the highest share for the category among the eight markets included in the analysis.

The figure suggests that customers use courier services for more than meals and groceries. Electronics, clothing, medicines and documents also form an important part of delivery demand.

inDrive highlights customer trust

Awais Saeed, Country Head of inDrive Pakistan, said the strong share of food and drink orders was not surprising.

He said the wide range of items sent through the service reflects the trust customers place in the platform.

“It’s no surprise to see food and drink account for such a large share of Courier orders in Pakistan,” Saeed said.

He added that customer trust plays an important role in how the company develops its features and services.

The latest figures show how courier services are becoming part of routine shopping and delivery needs in Pakistan. Food and groceries remain the biggest category, while demand for other products continues to give the service a wider role in the market.
