KARACHI, August 24, 2026: Tasdeeq Information Services Limited has joined the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) as its 11th listing of the calendar year, following strong demand from retail investors. The company’s listing was marked by a Gong Ceremony at the PSX Trading Hall on Monday.
The transaction involved 219 million ordinary shares. Pre-IPO investors acquired 69 million shares at PKR 2.35 each. The company offered another 150 million shares through its IPO at a strike price of PKR 3.00.
The combined transaction was worth approximately PKR 612 million. The strong response has highlighted growing investor interest in Pakistan’s data, analytics and financial technology sectors.
The retail portion of the IPO received 11,358 applications. Investors participated with a total amount of PKR 2.4 billion.
The retail offering was oversubscribed 21.68 times. The strong demand also led to a major change in the allocation structure.

Mohammed Sohail, CEO of Topline Securities and Consultant to the Issue, said the exceptional retail response prompted an increase in the retail allocation.
The allocation rose from 25% to 35%. According to the company, this marks the first time such an increase has occurred in Pakistan’s IPO history.
Farrukh H. Sabzwari, Managing Director and CEO of PSX, welcomed Tasdeeq to the Exchange.
He described the listing as the 11th of the calendar year and the third of the fiscal year. He said the milestone reflects continued momentum in Pakistan’s capital markets.
Sabzwari also highlighted the growing diversity of companies entering the stock market. Tasdeeq’s admission as a licensed credit bureau adds another sector to the Exchange’s listed-company base.
He said investor accounts have now crossed 600,000. Millennials and Gen Z investors are increasingly joining the market through awareness programmes and digital platforms.
According to Sabzwari, this expanding investor base helped drive the strong response to Tasdeeq’s IPO. He said the demand reflects continued interest in innovative businesses and Pakistan’s long-term capital market potential.
The Chairman and Board of Tasdeeq led the Gong Ceremony at the PSX Trading Hall. The company reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s credit information infrastructure.
Tasdeeq aims to support responsible lending across banks, microfinance institutions and digital lenders. Its listing also marks a significant development for the country’s credit information and data sector.
Mumtaz Hussain, CEO of Tasdeeq, thanked investors for their strong participation. He also outlined plans to expand the company’s business-to-consumer offering.
The listing gives Tasdeeq a new platform to expand its operations while increasing its visibility among investors. It also reflects the growing role of data-driven businesses within Pakistan’s financial ecosystem.
Tasdeeq’s listing represents another step in the diversification of Pakistan’s stock market. The company becomes South Asia’s first publicly listed credit bureau.
The strong retail response has also provided a positive signal for companies seeking to raise capital through the PSX. With more than 600,000 investor accounts, the Exchange is seeing increasing participation from younger investors.
The latest listing therefore combines two major developments. It brings a new type of business to the public market while demonstrating strong retail appetite for new investment opportunities.
