Karachi: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Javaid Alam Odho chaired a high-level meeting on the establishment of the Sindh Police Sports Board, bringing together board members to finalise its vision, objectives and future roadmap for promoting sports, youth engagement and healthy activities across Sindh.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the police and private-sector stakeholders to encourage sports development and community participation throughout the province.

Officials announced that DIG Traffic Sindh Pir Mohammad Shah will serve as Chairman of the Sindh Police Sports Board. Board members include Zahid Hameed, Chief Executive Officer of Apparel Zone; Dr Danish Aman, Chairman of PTA SZ; Syed Hussain Sajjad, Chief Operating Officer of Telec Group; and Taimur Siddique, Director of Shahi Group. They will contribute their expertise to support the board’s mission of promoting sports and community development.

During the meeting, Zahid Hameed presented a handcrafted calligraphy frame to IGP Sindh Javaid Alam Odho as a gesture of respect and appreciation.

The meeting was held at the Inspector General’s Office in Karachi.
