KARACHI: Youth Empowerment took centre stage as Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met a 25-member delegation of the Young Leaders Parliament at the Governor House, where he described young Pakistanis as the country’s greatest strength and the driving force behind its future.

The delegation, led by Young Leaders Parliament President Owais Khursheed Qaim Khani, held detailed discussions with the governor on youth empowerment, leadership development, quality education, skills training, employment opportunities, and the role of young people in national development.

Addressing the delegation, Governor Hashmi encouraged young people to dream big, set ambitious goals, and achieve them through dedication, hard work, and perseverance. He said Pakistan’s future leadership would rest with today’s youth when the nation marks 100 years of independence in 2047.

The governor urged young Pakistanis to prioritise education, strengthen their character, and dedicate themselves to serving the country. He said individual success and national progress go hand in hand, adding that educated and capable young people would play a decisive role in shaping Pakistan’s future.

Hashmi described the youth as Pakistan’s most valuable asset and stressed the need to provide them with every opportunity to develop their potential. He assured the delegation of his full support for initiatives that promote leadership, innovation, and meaningful participation in national affairs.

Both sides also agreed on the importance of expanding youth participation in national development, public policymaking, and the country’s decision-making process.

Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Sindh Coordinator Dr Fahad Shafiq, Prime Minister’s Coordinator Rana Ehsan Afzal, and other participants also attended the meeting.
