SBIL Awards Certificates to Top Students, Signs MoUs to Expand Educational Collaboration

Saylani School of Business & Islamic Leadership (SBIL), an initiative of Saylani Welfare International Trust, has held a certificate distribution ceremony in Karachi to recognize student achievements and strengthen educational partnerships.

The event took place at Ibn-e-Adam IT Park. More than 200 students attended, while over 30 high-achieving students received certificates for their performance in short-term professional courses. Distinguished guests also received commemorative shields in recognition of their participation and contributions.

Former Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) chief Ahmed Chinoy attended the ceremony alongside Saylani CEO Madani Raza, COO Muhammad Ghazal and Chief Marketing Officer Abrar Ahmed Khan. Other attendees included Trustee Ali Aslam, Raees Fateh, Amjad Chamdia, Afzal Chamdia, Faheem Mussani, Sohail Mussani, Jinnah Town Chairman Rizwan Sami, Mufti Younus and several religious and educational figures.

Speakers Stress Technology and Practical Skills

Speakers highlighted the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI), advanced technology and digital transformation. They said traditional education alone may not meet the demands of today’s professional environment.

They also emphasized practical training, technical expertise and continuous learning. These skills, they noted, are increasingly important for young people entering a rapidly changing job market.

The speakers called for greater efforts to equip Pakistan’s youth with skills that match global employment needs. They said combining emerging technologies with vocational training could create opportunities in employment, entrepreneurship and professional development.

Saylani Reaffirms Commitment to Professional Education

Addressing the gathering, Saylani CEO Madani Raza reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic education and workplace requirements.

He said SBIL would continue developing a skilled, competent and ethically responsible workforce. Its efforts include modern business education, technology training, professional development and leadership programmes rooted in Islamic and moral values.

Raza added that the institution aims to prepare individuals who can contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s economic growth and wider socioeconomic development.

Two MoUs Aim to Strengthen Educational Partnerships

The signing of two memorandums of understanding (MoUs) was a key highlight of the ceremony. The agreements aim to expand institutional cooperation and improve access to educational and professional development opportunities.

According to the press release, the first agreement involved STL Pakistan Cora Council, while the second was signed between SBIL and Darul Uloom Memon.

The proposed collaborations seek to encourage the exchange of academic and technical expertise. They also aim to strengthen professional skills and broaden access to training opportunities for students.

The ceremony highlighted SBIL’s focus on industry-relevant education, ethical leadership and career-oriented skills. The institution said these priorities would help prepare young professionals for a world increasingly shaped by technology and digital innovation.
