Nestlé Pakistan Reports 6.3% Sales Growth in First Nine Months of 2026

Nestlé Pakistan reported net sales of PKR 160 billion for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, marking a 6.3% increase compared with the same period last year.

The company attributed its sales growth to increased brand investment, consumer-focused innovation and renovation, stronger marketplace execution, and improved export routes to market.

Gross Profit Rises 8.1%

Nestlé Pakistan recorded an 8.1% increase in gross profit during the period. The company credited improved sales, disciplined overhead management and continued efforts to optimise its value chain for the growth.

However, higher brand investment and distribution costs limited the improvement in operating profit. Rising fuel prices contributed to the increase in distribution expenses.

As a result, operating profit grew by 5.9% compared with the same period in 2025. Meanwhile, net profit after tax increased by 3.1%, despite higher taxation expenses.

Nestlé Maintains Cautious Outlook for 2026

Nestlé Pakistan has maintained a cautious outlook for the full year 2026. The company cited geopolitical instability, volatile energy and input costs, and persistent inflationary pressures linked to fuel prices.

These challenges could continue to affect consumer spending and operating expenses. Nevertheless, the company said it remains well positioned to manage the changing business environment.

Company Focuses on Brands, Efficiency and Sustainability

Nestlé Pakistan plans to continue investing in its brands to strengthen its position in key product categories. The company also aims to improve operational efficiency and develop high-performing teams equipped for future business needs.

In addition, it intends to advance its sustainability agenda as part of its broader commitment to responsible business practices.

The company’s latest results reflect continued sales growth, although rising costs and taxation moderated improvements in operating and net profit.
