Speaking during remarks reported by Al Jazeera and Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency, President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iranians should “fight the enemy and stand firm against them so that we do not submit to injustice and oppression.”
He also stressed that the government’s commitment to justice should extend to its own people. The president said Iran must not oppress its citizens or commit injustice against them, highlighting the need for fairness alongside national resilience.
More than 100 words into his remarks, Pezeshkian said Iran has demonstrated that it is a “unique model of resistance.” He described the country’s approach as one built on perseverance in the face of external challenges while calling for unity and equal treatment at home.
His comments come as Iran continues to face regional tensions and international pressure. The president’s message combined calls for national solidarity with an appeal to uphold justice and protect the rights of Iranian citizens.
