Governor Sindh Urges Youth to Embrace AI and IT for a Brighter Future

KARACHI, August 17: Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi has urged young Pakistanis to embrace artificial intelligence and information technology to build a brighter future for the country.

During his visit to NJV School in Karachi, the Governor Sindh addressed students and highlighted the importance of education, technology and youth development.

NJV School Management Board CEO Masood and other officials welcomed the governor during his visit.

Hashmi told students that their ancestors migrated to Pakistan in search of a better future. He encouraged the younger generation to pursue new opportunities through modern technology.

He said young people should turn towards AI and IT to achieve progress and create better career opportunities.

The governor also encouraged students to use the Digital Youth Hub. He said the platform could help young people access employment opportunities, loans, laptops and other facilities.

Education and Youth Development

Hashmi said studying abroad could provide valuable educational opportunities. However, he urged students to return to Pakistan after completing their education and contribute to the country’s development.

He said Pakistan’s future depends on educated young people equipped with modern technological skills.

The governor also responded to students’ questions about child labour. He stressed that effective measures were urgently needed to eliminate child labour across the country.

Hashmi suggested that successful measures introduced by the Punjab government to combat child labour should be adopted nationwide.

Visit to Historic NJV School

During the visit, Hashmi toured the historic hall of NJV School. The hall holds historical significance as it hosted sessions of the country’s first Constituent Assembly.

He also inspected classrooms, the school library and science laboratory.

The governor visited the school’s sports facilities and areas dedicated to arts and culture.

Hashmi said educational institutions should provide students with opportunities to develop academic, technological and creative skills.

He emphasised that investing in young people and modern education would play a vital role in Pakistan’s future.
