Karachi, Pakistan, August 11, 2026: Emirates has introduced several measures to give customers greater flexibility and confidence when planning their journeys.
The latest measures cover date changes, refunds, travel disruptions and loyalty benefits. Emirates says the initiatives will give customers more choice and help them adjust their travel plans with fewer costs.
From free date changes to reduced refund fees, the airline has expanded options for customers travelling to Dubai and across its global network.
Customers travelling to Dubai can now change their travel dates as many times as needed without paying a date-change fee. The policy applies from August 10, 2026, across several Economy and Business Class fares.
In Economy, the offer covers Saver, Special and Flex fares. Business Class customers can use the benefit on Special, Saver and Flex fares.
Economy Flex Plus, Premium Economy, Business Flex Plus and First Class fares already offer full flexibility.

Emirates has also reduced refund fees for flights to Dubai. Economy Saver fares now carry a US$50 refund fee, while Flex fares carry a US$25 fee.
For Business Class, the refund fee stands at US$50 for Special and Saver fares. Flex fares carry a US$25 refund fee.
The combination of lower refund fees and free date changes gives customers more control over their bookings. Travellers can change their plans or cancel a booking with lower financial penalties.
Customers travelling anywhere on the Emirates network can also make one free date change on tickets booked from April 2, 2026. The benefit includes journeys that connect through Dubai.
Travellers can also hold a fare for 24 hours without paying a fee while they finalise their plans.
Emirates will also assist customers when flight disruptions affect their journeys. The airline can arrange accommodation directly for affected passengers when required.
If disruptions affect onward connections on other airlines, Emirates can rebook customers to their final destination at no additional cost. The policy also covers cancellations caused by airspace disruptions.
Emirates Skywards members can receive additional benefits through the airline’s latest loyalty offers. The programme gives members more opportunities to earn Tier Miles and save Miles on selected services.
Until August 31, 2026, members will need 20% fewer Tier Miles to reach Silver, Gold and Platinum status.
Members will also receive a 20% bonus on Tier Miles earned through Emirates and flydubai flights.
Skywards members can also receive greater value through Cash+Miles. A special rate of 2,000 Miles will provide US$30 in value instead of the usual US$15.
Members can use Miles towards Emirates or flydubai flights, excess baggage, lounge access and seat selection.
The measures give Emirates customers more flexibility at different stages of their journey. Applicable fare differences may still apply, while no-show fees remain unchanged.
