BTS has expanded its latest single “Normal” with a new music video and three additional versions of the track, offering fans fresh content following the group’s highly anticipated comeback.
The music video premiered exclusively on Spotify on Friday alongside Korean-language and instrumental versions of the song. The video will become available on other platforms after the 48-hour Spotify exclusive window ends.
Ahead of the release, HYBE Labels shared a teaser on YouTube that revealed a light-hearted side of the group. The clip shows the seven members gathered in a restroom before leader RM squeezes past them, highlighting their relaxed personalities away from the stage.
The release also resolved speculation surrounding an earlier promotional campaign. Newspapers, including the San Francisco Chronicle and the New York Post, published advertisements styled as sensational news reports featuring an unusual image that prompted widespread discussion among fans.

BigHit Music later confirmed that the image came from the “Normal” music video and formed part of the group’s promotional campaign.
The song appears on BTS’ fifth studio album, “ARIRANG,” which the group released in March to mark its return after a years-long hiatus.
Described as an alternative pop track driven by powerful drum and snare rhythms, “Normal” explores everyday life, personal reflection and the meaning of ordinary experiences.
The music video reunites BTS with Ukrainian director Tanu Muiño, who previously directed the group’s video for “Swim.” The new visuals follow the members as they recover at a luxury mansion after a night of celebration.
“Normal” debuted at No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100, extending BTS’ strong presence on international music charts.
The album “ARIRANG” has also enjoyed commercial success, spending three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart while continuing to rank among the top-selling albums in the United States.
Its lead single “SWIM” remains on the Billboard Hot 100, while several tracks from the album continue to feature on the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts.
BTS, comprising RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, debuted in 2013 and remains one of the world’s most influential music groups.
The group is also scheduled to perform at the FIFA World Cup halftime show alongside international artists including Madonna, Shakira and Justin Bieber.
