Singapore, November 6, 2026: Tech Valley has received the Award of Appreciation for Excellent Partnership from Google for Education at the Google Partner Summit APAC 2026 in Singapore.

Umar Farooq, Founder and CEO of Tech Valley, accepted the award on behalf of the organisation. The recognition highlights the company’s collaboration with Google for Education to advance digital transformation across Pakistan.

Through this partnership, Tech Valley has supported schools, universities, businesses and government institutions in adopting modern digital technologies. It has also worked to equip educators, students and professionals with the skills needed to use these tools effectively.

The organisation has focused on improving access to technology by making affordable Chromebooks available to learners and institutions across the country.

Beyond access and digital skills, Tech Valley has promoted the responsible use of technology. Its initiatives include encouraging the safe adoption of artificial intelligence in classrooms and workplaces. The company has also worked with parents, teachers and children to strengthen online safety awareness at home and in schools.

Speaking after receiving the award, Umar Farooq said the recognition belonged to every teacher, student, parent and institution that had trusted Tech Valley to introduce technology into classrooms and homes.

“Our goal has always been simple: technology in Pakistan should be affordable, safe and useful for everyone, not a privilege for a few. Being recognized by Google for Education on a regional stage tells us we are on the right path, and it pushes us to reach further, from cities to the communities that need these tools the most,” he said.

Tech Valley also thanked Google for Education for its continued trust and collaboration. The organisation acknowledged the support of its partners across government, academia, industry and civil society in Pakistan and internationally.

The company said it would continue working to build a digitally skilled, safe and future-ready Pakistan.
