The delegation included former presidents of the Pakistan Association of Photojournalists, Athar Khan, Syed Abbas Mehdi and Syed Hamid Hussain. Governing body member Imran Ali also attended the meeting.

Governor Hashmi described photojournalists as an important and effective source of communication and information.

He said photographs can often deliver messages more effectively than words. According to the governor, timely and impactful photography is not merely a professional skill but also an art.

“Introducing the new generation to this art is essential,” he said.
