Governor Hashmi described photojournalists as an important and effective source of communication and information.
He said photographs can often deliver messages more effectively than words. According to the governor, timely and impactful photography is not merely a professional skill but also an art.
“Introducing the new generation to this art is essential,” he said.
The Sindh governor noted that the rapid growth of social media has further increased the importance of photojournalism.
Visual content now plays a major role in how people receive and understand news. Therefore, photojournalists have an important responsibility to ensure that their work provides accurate and meaningful information.
