KARACHI: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met Ibn Sina Foundation Chairman Dr Kamal Aydin at the Governor House to discuss cooperation in healthcare, medical research, medical education, advanced medical technology and investment opportunities.
During the meeting, both sides explored ways to strengthen collaboration in the health sector and expand Pakistan-Türkiye partnerships in medical services and research.
Governor Hashmi said Pakistan and Türkiye share strong brotherly ties built on mutual trust and common values. He added that Sindh offers significant opportunities for investment in healthcare, modern medical technology and scientific research.
He stressed that providing quality, modern and accessible healthcare services to the public remains a top government priority.

The governor said international cooperation and the exchange of advanced medical expertise have become increasingly important to improve healthcare standards.
Dr Kamal Aydin expressed the Ibn Sina Foundation’s interest in investing and collaborating in healthcare, medical education, research and welfare projects across Sindh.
Governor Hashmi appreciated the foundation’s contributions and expressed hope for stronger Pakistan-Türkiye cooperation in the medical sector.
