The repeated tests come amid joint military exercises by South Korea and the United States. They also reflect continuing tensions between Seoul and Pyongyang.
South Korea has also accused North Korea of causing an explosion inside the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) on September 21. The incident reportedly injured three South Korean soldiers.

The latest missile activities add to concerns over security on the Korean Peninsula.
