Apple TV has released the first teaser trailer for Neuromancer, giving fans an early look at its highly anticipated adaptation of William Gibson’s landmark 1984 cyberpunk novel. The 10-episode series is set to premiere globally on January 22, 2027.

BAFTA winner Callum Turner stars as Case, a gifted but troubled hacker drawn into a dangerous world of corporate espionage, cybercrime, and high-risk heists. He joins forces with Molly, a skilled assassin portrayed by Briana Middleton, as they embark on a mission that could change their futures.

Apple TV unveiled the teaser during its Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, where Turner made a surprise virtual appearance to introduce the first footage from the series.

The series comes from creators Graham Roland and JD Dillard. Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content produce the project alongside Drake’s DreamCrew Entertainment. Drake serves as an executive producer, while Dillard directs the first three episodes and Roland leads the series as showrunner.

The cast also features Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard, Clémence Poésy, Max Irons, Dane DeHaan, Emma Laird, André De Shields, and Isabella Pappas.

William Gibson’s Neuromancer remains one of the most influential science-fiction novels ever written. The novel helped establish the cyberpunk genre and inspired generations of filmmakers, television creators, and game developers with its vision of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and futuristic technology.

Apple TV will premiere Neuromancer worldwide on January 22, 2027.
