The Israeli army on Friday claimed that its forces killed three Palestinian commanders in the Gaza Strip.
The army said the men were affiliated with the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.
It identified the alleged commanders as Mohammed al-Yazouri, Hudhaifa Muammar and Muhammad Bahjat Rashi.
According to the Israeli military, al-Yazouri commanded Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade.
The army said Israeli forces and the Shin Bet security agency carried out a “precise strike” in the Khan Younis area.
It also claimed that Muammar served as a company commander. Rashi, it said, was part of Hamas’s military wing in the Khan Younis Brigade.
Hamas and the Qassam Brigades did not immediately comment on the claims.
Separately, Palestinian medical sources told Anadolu that one Palestinian was killed and 13 others were injured in Israeli attacks on Khan Younis on Friday.
The injured included children, according to the sources.

The casualties came amid continued reports of violence in Gaza despite a ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025.
The body of the person killed and 12 injured people were taken to Nasser Hospital.
Medical sources said an Israeli drone struck a gathering of civilians at the Al-Sumoud displacement camp in the Al-Mawasi area.
Earlier, an Israeli tank reportedly fired toward the Ard al-Limoun area in Al-Mawasi. The attack critically injured one person.
Another Palestinian later died from wounds sustained in an Israeli strike on civilians in Gaza City’s Al-Daraj neighbourhood on Thursday.
The latest reports add to continuing concerns over civilian safety in Gaza.
Israel says its military operations target Hamas and other armed groups. Palestinian authorities and rights organisations have repeatedly raised concerns about the impact of Israeli attacks on civilians and Gaza’s infrastructure.
The Israeli army’s latest claims about the three alleged commanders could not be independently verified.
The situation remains volatile as reports of casualties and ceasefire violations continue to emerge from the Gaza Strip.
