KARACHI, August 15, 2026: Governor House Karachi hosted a grand Independence Day celebration to mark Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, bringing together prominent personalities and guests from different walks of life.

Sindh Governor Syed Mohammad Nehal Hashmi hosted the ceremony, which featured patriotic speeches, national songs, a cake-cutting ceremony, dinner and a colourful fireworks display. Nadeem Israr Usmani and Mariya Khan also made special appearances at the event.

The ceremony reflected messages of national unity, patriotism and commitment to Pakistan’s progress. Guests participated in various activities and celebrated the occasion with enthusiasm.
