The actor and his wife, Gauri Spratt, are said to be exploring new residential options in the city. According to media reports, the couple could move into another rented apartment by the end of 2026 or early 2027.

Aamir and Gauri currently live in a rented property in Mumbai’s Pali Hill area. The actor reportedly occupies four apartments in the building, which has entered into a redevelopment agreement.

With redevelopment work expected to progress, the couple is looking for alternative accommodation. Reports suggest their next residence is already undergoing renovation and will be customised according to their requirements.

Aamir Khan faces another relocation

This is reportedly not the first time Aamir has had to relocate because of redevelopment.

Around 18 months ago, the actor moved out of his permanent residence in Union Park after the property became part of a redevelopment project.

His home is located in the Bella Vista and Marina Apartments complex, which is also undergoing redevelopment. The project is expected to take several years to complete.

Media reports suggest Aamir’s permanent residence could be ready around 2030.

Reports suggest plans for a larger family home

Adding to speculation about his property plans, reports say Aamir is considering a larger family residence described as a “sky villa”.

The actor is reportedly exploring the possibility of acquiring additional apartments within the redevelopment project. This could provide more space for his extended family.

However, details about the proposed property and any additional purchases have not been officially confirmed.

Aamir and Gauri’s relationship

Aamir introduced Gauri Spratt publicly during his 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025. At the time, he revealed that they had known each other for nearly 25 years.

The couple reportedly married in an intimate ceremony on July 5, 2026, attended by close friends and family.

Their reported search for a new home comes as redevelopment plans affect both their current rented accommodation and Aamir’s permanent residence.
