KATSEYE Postpones Detroit Concert After Megan Skiendiel Falls Ill

The November 3 concert at Little Caesars Arena was postponed around 30 minutes before showtime. Many fans had already arrived at the venue.

In a statement shared through Instagram Stories, the group explained that Megan needed time to rest and recover.

“We’re so sorry to share that tonight’s show at Little Caesars Arena has been postponed due to illness,” the group wrote. “Unfortunately, Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight, and we want to make sure she has the time she needs to rest and recover.”

The members also recognised that fans had travelled to Detroit and made arrangements to attend the show.

“We know so many of you have travelled, made plans, and been looking forward to tonight,” they continued. “We are incredibly disappointed that we won’t get to see you, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience.”

The group thanked supporters for their patience and understanding. They also said they loved their fans and looked forward to seeing them soon.

Fans Receive Postponement Notice at Arena

The announcement came as concertgoers were already inside Little Caesars Arena, while others were still travelling to the venue.

Videos shared on social media showed the postponement notice displayed on the arena’s screens.

The venue also apologised to ticket holders. It advised them to keep their existing tickets, which will remain valid for the rescheduled date once announced. Fans are expected to receive further details by email.

The last-minute postponement prompted mixed reactions online. Some fans expressed frustration over disrupted plans and travel or accommodation expenses. Others supported the decision, saying performers should have time to recover when they fall ill.

Detroit Show Was Part of Wildworld Tour

The Detroit concert was part of KATSEYE’s Wildworld Tour. The tour began in September and includes the group’s first arena performances.

The North American leg is scheduled to continue through November 28, with Mexico City listed as the final stop.

KATSEYE are currently performing with four members, as Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman remain on hiatus. Sophia is expected to return in January 2027, while the group has not announced a confirmed return date for Manon.
