The children were among five people critically injured in the incident. They died during treatment at Lady Reading Hospital, while a woman and a girl remain under medical care.

The explosion occurred late last night after gas leaked from a cylinder inside a house near Pajjagi Road. The powerful blast caused the roof to collapse, trapping a woman and four children beneath the rubble.

Rescue teams recovered all five victims and shifted them to Lady Reading Hospital in critical condition. However, three children later died during treatment.
