Pakistani actress Yumna Zaidi has opened up about the emotional side of travelling for work.
The actress shared pictures from a flight along with a personal note about leaving her family behind.
Yumna said she still tears up whenever work takes her away from home.
“Flights and my tears share a long history. I still tear up leaving home for work, stepping away from family to face the world and hold it all together,” she wrote.
One picture shows Yumna looking emotional while wearing earphones.
Another captures the aircraft cabin and lights outside her window.

The actress also reflected on how she has learned to accept the emotions that come with leaving home.
“Even though the tears still fall, I’ve grown used to them—and strangely, I’ve grown to love them. Life is a profound teacher,” she added.
Yumna did not reveal the name of a work project or her travel destination.
Instead, she focused on the emotions that come with frequent travel.
Her message suggests that experience has not made saying goodbye easier. She has simply learned to live with the feeling.
For people who often travel for work, Yumna’s words offer a relatable thought. Getting used to travelling does not always mean getting used to leaving loved ones behind.
