Commissioner Inland Revenue Nasir Janjua attended the ceremony as the chief guest and praised the initiative for recognising the contributions of the country’s master artists. An Ode exhibition, he said, serves as a meaningful tribute that preserves the legacy of Pakistan’s celebrated painters and promotes greater appreciation of the visual arts.

The exhibition featured creative works by prominent artists, including Mashkoor Raza, Iqbal Hussain, Wahab Jaffer, Ahmed Khan, Tassaduq Sohail, and Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, showcasing a diverse collection inspired by Pakistan’s artistic traditions.

The event was organised by Engineer Jimmy Fali, whose initiative was widely praised by participants as an important effort to connect younger audiences with the country’s cultural and artistic history.

Guests attending the exhibition said such cultural events play a vital role in preserving the work of renowned artists while encouraging emerging generations to value Pakistan’s creative identity.
