Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said the timely completion of development projects remains a top priority for the provincial government.
In a statement on Friday, Memon said the Pakistan Peoples Party-led Sindh government had launched more than 13,000 development schemes.
He said more than 9,000 of these projects have been completed. Official Sindh government data has also reported 13,000-plus schemes and 9,193 completed projects since 2008.
Memon said work on roads in flood-affected areas was also progressing.
According to him, more than 80% of work on 724 kilometres of roads has been completed.

The Sindh government has separately reported that its flood emergency reconstruction programme covers 724 kilometres of damaged roads. An earlier official progress update said 538 kilometres had been completed.
Memon also highlighted the expansion of public transport services in Karachi.
He said millions of passengers have gained access to travel facilities through the Orange Line and Green Line BRT services.
Construction on different sections of the Yellow Line and Red Line BRT projects is also progressing, he added.
The Sindh government has identified both projects among its major transport and mass transit initiatives.
Memon said additional electric buses and double-decker buses would arrive in Karachi soon.
He said the government was focusing on completing development projects on time so residents could benefit from them without unnecessary delays.
The minister’s statement comes as the provincial government continues to review infrastructure and transport projects across Sindh.
