In Nushki, security forces raided a suspected militant hideout. An exchange of fire killed two militants, while personnel recovered weapons and ammunition, the military said.
Meanwhile, troops targeted another suspected hideout in Khuzdar. The operation killed one militant and led to the recovery of 490 kilogrammes of explosives, according to the ISPR.

Security forces have launched follow-up searches in the affected areas. These operations aim to locate any remaining militants, the military added.
The ISPR said the counterterrorism campaign under Vision Azm-i-Istehkam would continue at full pace. The campaign aims to counter what the military describes as foreign-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan.
President Asif Ali Zardari praised the security forces following the operations, according to a statement from the President Secretariat’s Media Wing.
He commended the forces for their professional capabilities. He also highlighted their action in Panjpai, where troops foiled an attempt to disrupt local traffic.
Furthermore, the president praised the operation against a suspected militant hideout in Nushki. He also commended the Khuzdar operation, where troops recovered 490 kilogrammes of explosives, according to the statement.
President Zardari reiterated his resolve to thwart efforts by terrorists’ foreign patrons and their local facilitators.
The three operations form part of Pakistan’s ongoing counterterrorism efforts in Balochistan. Security forces continue to target suspected militant networks through intelligence-based operations.
