The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) recorded a positive trend during the outgoing business week. The benchmark KSE-100 Index gained 7,477 points to close at 173,886.
According to the weekly market update, the index fluctuated within a range of 9,614 points. It reached a high of 176,604 points and a low of 166,989 points.
Trading activity remained active throughout the week. A total of 4.28 billion shares changed hands.
The value of these transactions reached Rs142 billion, reflecting strong trading activity in the market.
The market also recorded growth in its overall capitalisation. Market value increased by Rs520 billion during the week.
