Two ships carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Oman have arrived at Port Qasim, raising expectations of a possible decline in LPG prices as supplies improve.
According to sources, the two vessels brought a combined 7,603 metric tonnes of LPG to Pakistan.
At the SSGC terminal, the vessel Priyanis offloaded 4,250 metric tonnes of LPG. Meanwhile, the vessel Alisa One offloaded 3,083 metric tonnes at the Engro terminal.
Sources also said that LPG supplies suspended through the Iranian border route are expected to resume from tomorrow.

Market sources expect LPG prices to fall as the additional shipments arrive and supplies improve. However, the extent of any price reduction will depend on market conditions and the availability of LPG in the coming days.
