MUMBAI: Bollywood couple Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have announced that they are expecting their second child.
The couple shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday through a heartfelt photograph showing their intertwined hands, their firstborn’s tiny hand and a pair of baby gloves.
“Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude,” Advani wrote alongside the image.
The announcement comes just over a year after the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
Advani and Malhotra announced the birth of their daughter in July 2025, writing, “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a Baby Girl.”
They later revealed her name, Saraayah Malhotra, in November 2025, sharing a photograph featuring themselves holding her tiny toes.
The couple’s latest announcement also mirrors the way they revealed their first pregnancy. In February 2025, they used a photograph featuring baby mittens to share the news with fans.
The new announcement has since attracted congratulatory messages from fans and Bollywood celebrities.

Their relationship developed further while working together on Shershaah, released in 2021. The pair played Captain Vikram Batra and Dimple Cheema in the film, with their on-screen chemistry fuelling widespread interest in their relationship.
The couple married on February 7, 2023, in an intimate ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
They have largely kept their personal lives private while continuing to pursue their respective careers in Bollywood.
Advani was most recently seen in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups alongside Yash. She has also appeared in War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr.
Malhotra, meanwhile, continues to work on commercial and action projects, including Vvan: Force of the Forest.
With their family set to grow once again, the couple’s latest announcement has become the focus of attention among their fans and Bollywood followers.
