Faysal Bank Limited (FBL) has joined hands with Patients’ Aid Foundation (PAF) for the third consecutive year as the title sponsor of “Bike A Cause 3 – Pedal Together to Defeat Breast Cancer.”
The initiative brought together Karachi’s cycling community, healthcare professionals and supporters. It aims to raise awareness about breast cancer and support free care at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
The campaign seeks to improve access to breast-cancer screening and treatment for patients who cannot afford healthcare.
The initiative particularly focuses on underserved communities across Karachi, Sindh, Balochistan and other parts of Pakistan.
Proceeds will support Patients’ Aid Foundation’s efforts to provide free healthcare to patients in need.
Faysal Bank President and CEO Yousaf Hussain said the bank views care as one of its core Islamic values.

“We believe its true meaning lies in turning compassion into meaningful action,” Hussain said.
He added that Faysal Bank was proud to continue its partnership with Patients’ Aid Foundation for a third consecutive year.
Hussain also said the focus on breast cancer made this year’s initiative particularly meaningful. He added that the bank was honoured to support a movement bringing communities together for an important cause.
Patients’ Aid Foundation Chairman Mushtaq K. Chhapra said the cycling initiative demonstrated what communities can achieve when they work towards a shared purpose.
“Bike A Cause is a powerful expression of what can be achieved when a community comes together for a shared purpose,” Chhapra said.
He also thanked Faysal Bank for continuing its support and helping raise awareness about free breast-cancer care at JPMC.
Patients’ Aid Foundation has worked with JPMC for more than three decades. The foundation has supported healthcare infrastructure, technology and patient care at the medical centre.
Through this partnership, the foundation has helped expand access to advanced medical treatment for patients who cannot afford it.
The latest initiative further combines community participation with efforts to improve access to breast-cancer care.
