Bank Alfalah has opened its 1,200th branch in Karachi, marking a significant milestone in the bank’s nationwide expansion. The new Retail-cum-Premiere Branch at Khayaban-e-Shamsheer combines conventional and digital banking services to enhance the customer experience.
The branch features modern banking infrastructure, digital self-service facilities and an exclusive Premiere Banking Lounge for premium customers. It also provides dedicated relationship managers to deliver personalised financial services.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Atif Bajwa, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank Alfalah, said the achievement reflects the confidence that millions of customers have placed in the bank.
“This milestone reflects the trust of millions. While digital banking continues to grow, strategically located branches remain essential for personalised service and stronger customer relationships,” he said.
Mehreen Ahmed, Group Head of Retail Banking, said the opening highlights the bank’s commitment to serving customers across Pakistan.
“We celebrate the trust of our nine million customers. This branch reinforces our commitment to financial inclusion and bringing award-winning services closer to every Pakistani,” she said.
The bank said the new facility aims to provide customers with greater convenience by combining digital technology with face-to-face banking services.
Bank Alfalah now operates 1,200 branches across Pakistan and employs more than 17,000 people. The bank also maintains an international presence in four countries.
The lender said it will continue investing in innovation, accessibility and customer-focused banking services as it expands its nationwide network.
