US actor Selma Blair was taken into custody on Sunday night after allegedly assaulting crew members aboard a domestic flight arriving in New York City, according to Fox News.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey told the outlet that officers responded to a report of a “physically abusive passenger” aboard a Delta Air Lines flight.
Authorities responded at around 11 pm local time after the aircraft landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport. The flight had departed from Los Angeles.
Police identified the suspect as Blair, 54, and said officers transported her to a hospital for evaluation.
Two flight attendants reportedly sustained injuries during the incident. One crew member required hospital treatment for further medical evaluation, according to authorities.
Celebrity news outlet TMZ reported that Blair allegedly kicked a Port Authority police officer in the head while officers transported her to the hospital. She also allegedly assaulted a nurse after arriving at the facility.
