KARACHI: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said iWork4Sindh is developing into a complete digital career platform for young people across the province.

The platform now has 19,973 active job opportunities, up from 16,200, while registered candidates have reached 121,000.

Memon said the number of jobs posted on the platform had also increased from 23,400 to 26,890.

He described the growth as evidence of rising interest among Sindh’s youth in digital employment and professional development.

More than 457,000 job applications submitted

According to Memon, young people have submitted more than 457,000 job applications through the platform so far.

He said the figures showed the willingness of Sindh’s youth to pursue practical employment opportunities.

The provincial government wants to go beyond simply connecting young people with jobs. It also aims to prepare them for changing demands in the modern economy.

The number of young people completing courses under the Learn and Earn Programme has increased from 2,735 to 3,270.

More than 1,200 international courses are also available through the programme.

AI tool helps youth prepare for jobs

Memon said the government wants young people to become job-ready rather than remain limited to the role of job seekers.

As part of that effort, the government has introduced an AI Auto CV Creator.

The tool allows users to present their skills, qualifications and work experience in a more professional format with the help of artificial intelligence.

Memon said modern technology could help young people compete for employment opportunities both inside Pakistan and internationally.

Digital jobs brought closer to young people

The minister said the government wants employment opportunities to move beyond traditional office-based jobs.

Digital platforms can allow young people to access education, training, skills development and employment opportunities from their homes.

He said iWork4Sindh was playing an important role in bringing these services together.

The continued growth of the platform, he added, reflects the government’s focus on connecting youth skills with real employment opportunities.
