Sixteen-year-old Arham Mehfooz produced a standout all-round display at the Independence Day Inter-House Cricket Tournament, earning the Man of the Match award for his impressive performance.

The tournament took place on August 15 as part of Independence Day celebrations in Karachi. Representing Abdul Razzaq House, Arham contributed in all three departments of the game, making an impact as a bowler, wicketkeeper and batsman.

Arham has trained regularly at Moin Khan Cricket Academy for the past year. His performance at the tournament highlighted the progress he has made during that period.

The opposition posted a challenging 176 runs in 15 overs. Arham responded strongly with the ball, giving away only six runs in his two overs and claiming two important wickets.

He then continued to influence the match behind the stumps. As wicketkeeper, Arham took four catches to further strengthen his team’s position.

His most notable contribution came during the chase. Opening the innings, the young cricketer played a confident knock and helped his side respond to the challenging target.

His contribution across the three departments ultimately earned him the Man of the Match award.
