Chery Super Hybrid vehicles will receive temporary tax relief after Master Auto Engineering (MAE) announced savings of up to Rs1.5 million for customers purchasing its locally assembled plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) lineup until July 31, 2026.
The company said the initiative is designed to reduce the impact of Pakistan’s revised sales tax on buyers while encouraging the adoption of new energy vehicles (NEVs). The offer applies across MAE’s locally assembled Chery Super Hybrid Tiggo range.

Master Auto Engineering said the decision reflects its commitment to making advanced hybrid technology more affordable for Pakistani families.
The company added that the initiative supports the country’s transition to cleaner mobility while helping customers manage higher vehicle costs following the revised tax policy.
MAE said its Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) technology offers one of the world’s most advanced plug-in hybrid systems.
According to the company, the locally assembled vehicles provide up to 170 kilometres of pure electric driving range and up to 1,400 kilometres of combined driving range, allowing drivers to switch between electric and fuel-powered driving with greater flexibility.
The company said the technology reduces fuel consumption, lowers operating costs and addresses range anxiety while Pakistan continues to expand its electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Since introducing the Chery brand in Pakistan, Master Auto Engineering said it has continued to invest in local manufacturing, production capacity, employment and dealership expansion.
The company operates a 60-acre manufacturing facility and currently has 10 dealerships across Pakistan. It plans to increase that number to 20 dealerships within the next six months.
MAE said these investments support industrial growth, technology transfer and wider access to advanced mobility solutions.
Master Auto Engineering CEO Samir Malik said customers remain at the centre of the company’s business strategy.
He said the temporary relief measures demonstrate MAE’s long-term commitment to making advanced new energy vehicles more accessible while supporting Pakistan’s transition towards sustainable transportation.
Malik added that the company will continue investing in local manufacturing, innovation and customer-focused initiatives through the Chery Super Hybrid platform.
MAE said it remains focused on expanding Pakistan’s highest-selling locally assembled plug-in hybrid SUV lineup while supporting the long-term growth of the country’s automotive industry.
