Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami on Saturday under a US warrant issued at the request of British authorities, who are seeking their extradition to face multiple criminal charges.
The US Marshals Service confirmed the arrests but did not release further details because the warrant remains under seal.
Footage obtained by TMZ showed officers placing both brothers in handcuffs before escorting them to waiting vehicles.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said it had formally requested the brothers’ extradition from the United States.

British prosecutors said the brothers face a combined 59 criminal charges. Andrew Tate faces 42 counts, while Tristan Tate faces 17.
According to the CPS, the charges include rape, trafficking for sexual exploitation, assault and offences involving indecent images of a child.
Malcolm McHaffie, head of the CPS Special Crime Division, said prosecutors decided to proceed after Bedfordshire Police presented new evidence.
He added that the latest evidence increased the total number of alleged victims in the case to seven.
The brothers deny all allegations.
Their lawyer, Joseph McBride, said they expect the courts to clear them after a full review of the evidence.
“We are confident that once the facts are reviewed, a judge will see through what we believe is an abuse of authority,” McBride said.
Tristan Tate declined to comment when an onlooker asked about the arrests in footage shared on X.
The latest arrests add to the brothers’ ongoing legal challenges in several countries.
Earlier this year, Hertfordshire Police reopened an investigation into rape and sexual assault allegations against Andrew Tate dating back to 2014 and 2015.
Bedfordshire Police are also investigating separate allegations of rape and human trafficking involving the brothers.
British authorities are also investigating allegations of tax evasion and money laundering.
In Romania, prosecutors have accused the brothers of trafficking minors, sexual offences involving a minor and money laundering.
Meanwhile, authorities in Florida opened a separate criminal investigation into the brothers in March 2025, although officials have not disclosed the current status of that inquiry.
Andrew Tate has built a large online following by promoting controversial views on masculinity and gender issues. He has more than 10 million followers on X, and both brothers have publicly expressed support for US President Donald Trump.
