DWP Technologies and GNEXT Technologies brought business and IT leaders together in Karachi to explore modern workplace solutions and the future of enterprise technology.
The companies hosted Working Beyond the Desktop at the Marriott Hotel on November 5, 2026. The event focused on workforce productivity, data security and smarter IT management for businesses across Pakistan.
DWP Technologies is an Apple Authorised Reseller, while GNEXT Technologies is an Apple Authorised Distributor.
The session attracted senior professionals and decision-makers from financial institutions, telecommunications companies, pharmaceutical organisations, engineering firms and other corporate sectors.
Participants represented IT leadership, infrastructure, cybersecurity, technology operations and procurement.
The central message was that new devices alone cannot make a business more productive. Organisations also need strong security, simple deployment, effective device management and a clear understanding of long-term technology costs.
The event explored how Mac and Apple’s ecosystem can support workplace productivity, improve business workflows and strengthen collaboration.

Discussions covered several key areas, including built-in security, data protection and simplified device deployment.
Participants also examined centralised device management and the long-term business value of Apple technology. Total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) were among the main topics.
Another important discussion focused on integrating Mac devices into existing IT environments. Speakers explored how organisations can transition to Apple technology or adopt it alongside their current systems.
Hassaan Saqib of DWP Technologies said businesses across Pakistan wanted to modernise their workplaces but needed more than hardware.
“Businesses across Pakistan want to modernise how they work, but they need more than hardware. They need a partner who can plan, deploy and support their technology for the long term. This is the role DWP Technologies is committed to playing,” he said.
Iqbal Shafi of GNEXT Technologies highlighted Apple’s productivity, security and device management capabilities.
“Apple brings productivity, security and simple management together on one platform. With DWP Technologies, our aim is to give organisations the products, expertise and local support to get the most from that investment,” he added.
The initiative reinforces DWP Technologies’ position as a technology partner for businesses across Pakistan.
By combining Apple technology with expertise in IT infrastructure, solution integration, deployment and ongoing technical support, DWP aims to help organisations modernise their workplaces.
GNEXT’s Apple distribution capabilities further support this approach. Together, the companies aim to improve operational efficiency and help businesses maximise the long-term value of their technology investments.
