KAKUL, October 17, 2026: Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC) General Syed Aamer Raza has warned that Pakistan will not tolerate cross-border aggression or violations of its sovereignty, stressing that the country’s territorial integrity remains an absolute priority.
Addressing the passing-out parade of the 154th PMA Long Course and 39th Technical Graduate Course at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul on Saturday, General Raza said Pakistan remained committed to peace but would respond firmly to threats against its security.
“We will neither tolerate cross-border aggression nor any violation of our sovereign borders, as safeguarding the territorial integrity of our motherland is absolute and unyielding,” he said.
General Raza congratulated the graduating cadets and praised their discipline, dedication and performance during training. He also acknowledged the role of their parents and instructors in preparing them for military service.
He congratulated cadets from Bangladesh, Iraq, the Maldives, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan and Yemen on completing their training, highlighting the bonds of friendship developed during their time at the academy.
The CNSC said military careers would require sound judgement, professional competence and strong leadership. He urged the newly commissioned officers to lead with integrity, courage and dedication.
According to General Raza, effective leadership depends on character, professional skills, comradeship and the ability to earn soldiers’ trust. He said these qualities were essential during both peace and war.
Addressing technological developments, General Raza said emerging technologies had changed the nature of modern warfare and challenged traditional military doctrines.
He said Pakistan’s armed forces were undertaking a multi-domain transformation to strengthen the country’s defence capabilities.
The general urged graduating officers to stay ahead of technological developments, adapt to changing operational requirements and prepare for increasingly complex security challenges.
He also highlighted the importance of understanding evolving geopolitical conditions and the growing use of hybrid threats, disinformation and narrative warfare.
Speaking about the Middle East, General Raza expressed concern over the humanitarian situation in Palestine and reiterated Pakistan’s diplomatic, moral and political support for the Palestinian people.
He condemned attacks on civilians and the destruction of civilian infrastructure, describing them as violations of international law.
The CNSC also referred to the situation in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirming Pakistan’s support for the Kashmiri people’s aspirations and their struggle under relevant United Nations resolutions.
He said regional tensions and hybrid threats underscored the need to protect national unity and sovereignty.

General Raza warned that attempts to destabilise Pakistan through proxy terrorism, sub-conventional warfare and disinformation posed serious security challenges.
He alleged that Pakistan’s adversaries were seeking to weaken social cohesion and undermine state institutions. He also referred to Operation Sindoor, claiming that the adversary’s failure had been followed by increased efforts to destabilise Pakistan.
The general urged the graduating officers to remain focused on their duties and resist what he described as malicious propaganda.
Addressing potential adversaries, he said there was no room for conflict in a nuclearised environment and warned that any miscalculation could trigger a severe response.
He reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces were prepared to defend the country’s territory and sovereignty.
Despite his warnings, General Raza described Pakistan as a peace-loving country that prioritised restraint, dialogue and regional stability.
He said the country’s commitment to peace should not be mistaken for weakness and repeated that Pakistan would respond to any violation of its borders.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, General Raza congratulated the cadets on receiving their commissions in the Pakistan Army.
He also congratulated the Champion Company for winning the Quaid-e-Azam Banner and recognised cadets who received awards for outstanding performance during training, including the Sword of Honour, President’s Gold Medal and Chief of Army Staff’s Cane.
He concluded by urging the newly commissioned officers to serve with loyalty, diligence, moral courage and selfless devotion to Pakistan.
