An event focused on women’s empowerment and development was organised under the auspices of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Women Empowerment and Development.

Yasmeen Dada Bhai attended the event as the Chief Guest, while MPA Dr Fouzia Hameed served as the Guest of Honour.

Farah Javed, Convener of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Women Empowerment and Development, hosted the event.

The gathering brought together business leaders, professionals and other prominent personalities from different fields.

Among the attendees were Mian Zahid Hussain, Chairman of the FPCCI Policy Advisory Board; Shaukat Gilani, Convener of the FPCCI Sindh Regional Committee on Consumer and Public Service; and Syed Turab Shah, Convener of Corporate Relations and Communications.

Renowned beautician NG Marshall, Barrister Saleem Sheikh and beautician Zara Zahid also attended the event.

The participants discussed the need to create more opportunities for women to develop their skills and pursue leadership roles.

They stressed the importance of recognising women’s capabilities and providing platforms where they can contribute to society.

The speakers also highlighted women’s potential to play a stronger role in Pakistan’s economy.

They called for greater participation of women in professional, business and social activities.

The event also reflected the FPCCI committee’s focus on promoting women’s development and supporting their participation in economic and national affairs.

Participants said empowering women can help expand opportunities and strengthen their contribution to Pakistan’s social and economic progress.
